I finally graduated college in 2009 with my Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology with a minor in Religious Studies. I interned at the Field Museum (it was omg-beyond-words-awesome!) and taught preschool for 15 years. Now, I'm searching for the next branch in my path. I wonder where it will take me. I started working in the Teen Services department in one public library in the evenings while interning at another public library as a story time intern in the mornings. I also volunteer at a third library. So far, I'm loving it and wondering why I didn't make this career switch a lot sooner.
I make hemp jewelry and polymer clay beads. I also crochet and especially like making dice bags. My sister and I started a business several years ago and we sell hand-crafted jewelry and accessories at various craft fairs, renaissance festivals, conventions and college campuses in the Midwest. Most weekends are spent either hawking our wares with her or spending time with two of my sweeties in WI.
